Skip counting is one way to find multiples. However if you get stuck, you can also add on.
For example, if I know the first 5 multiples of 7 by skip counting: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, but I don't know what comes next, I can add 35+7 to get the next multiple, which is 42.
